Where to stay in 2020?

Ibiza Town/Jesus

The winding pathways of Eivissa are soaked in history & culture, so why not fully immerse yourself by staying in this ancient Mediterranean city? It’s the perfect place to stay for those looking to be close to a variety of restaurants and bars, and an idyllic base for exploring the rest of the island.

Ibiza Town is split into 3 main parts; Old Town, New Town & the Marina. Old Town is home to the citadel Dalt Vila, where you will find winding cobbled streets lined with shops, restaurants and bars. If you’re looking to learn more about Ibiza’s history – explore the museums within the walls of Dalt Vila, before climbing all the way to the top for awe-inspiring views across the entire city and beyond. If you’re in need of pre-club drinks, then wander into one of the lively bars along the harbor – the perfect place to people watch and daydream about owning one of the incredible yachts moored water side before heading out for the night.

New Town is the flatter part of the city, well known for its shopping, hidden tapas bars and the beautiful Plaza Del Parque. Finally, Marina Botafoch sits at the opposite end of the city from Dalt Vila, offering upmarket and trendy restaurants and bars, including STK, Heart & Lio, as well as the infamous Pacha nightclub.

For those looking for an even more relaxed Ibizan vibe, the beautiful suburb of Jesus is just a couple of kilometers away. Jesus is surrounded by a multitude of stunning villas, perfect for groups of all sizes to enjoy a holiday away from hotels.

San Rafael

Blink and you’ll miss it, but tucked away behind the giant that is Privilege nightclub, is a traditional Spanish village called San Rafael. With its beautiful 18th century church and stunning views all the way to Ibiza Town and Dalt Vila, this quiet area is perfect for those looking to retreat after a long day in the sun or long night partying until the sun comes up.

This particular area is filled with large private villas, simply perfect for group holidays, and is situated on the road between Eivissa and San Antonio. A tranquil environment and awe-inspiring views from the VIP villas are just a couple of reasons to choose to stay in San Rafael. San Rafael is also home to the well-known restaurants C’an Pilot and Las Dos Lunas, ideal for those looking for amazing culinary experience whilst on their holidays.

Santa Gertrudis

Famed as one of the most chic towns on Ibiza, Santa Gertrudis is a hive of boho shops, charming bars and rustic restaurants. Located right in the heart of Ibiza, this old church town can be found full of residents and tourists alike, either browsing the stores in the pedestrian friendly plaza, or watching the world go by whilst sitting at one the many bar terraces.

Sculptors, musicians and artists flocked to Santa Gertrudis in the 60’s and 70’s, and the ‘Notting Hill’ bohemian vibe has stayed ever since. With recent modifications and expansions around the area, you’ll find a beautiful collection of VIP hotels and villas, perfect for an extended stay on Ibiza. As well as this, there are an array of traditional and fine dining restaurant options in Santa Gertrudis and in the surrounding areas, including Bambuddha, Nagai and Bar Costa.

Es Cubells

Situated on the southwest of the island, Es Cubells is a small coastline town, brimming with large VIP villas boasting stunning ocean views. The town is host to only a few shops, bars and restaurants, making it the perfect area to quietly retreat for your Ibiza vacation.

Closeby you’ll find some of the most picturesque beaches, such as Cala des Cubells, Ses Boques or Cala Llentrisca and, a bit further away, Es Torrent and Porroig. All of these beaches are often completely empty, due to the sometimes difficult access, but worth a trip if you are staying in the area or have hired a car.

For dining in the Es Cubells area, choose between Bar & Grill Llumbi, Bar & Restaurant Es Cubells or Can Mestre. For a special occasion, enjoy lunch or dinner at Ses Boques, with views of Formentera accompanied by their fresh seafood and paella dishes.

Roca Llisa

Roca Llisa is situated perfectly between Ibiza Town and Santa Eulalia, and is widely considered one of the best places to stay on the island. Completely peaceful and beautifully scenic, Roca Llisa is one of the top choices for many groups of friends coming to stay in Ibiza, simply due to the incredible collection of VIP villas available for hire in the area.

Bars, banks, supermarkets and restaurants are all widely available in the area, making it the perfect holiday location. Roca Llisa is a synergy of incredible architecture and nature, cliff edge views and expansive VIP properties – attracting some of the most exclusive clientele.

Other Areas

There are so many other places on the island to stay in and explore if you’re looking for something a little quieter or a little more authentic.

The town of Santa Eulalia is perfectly Ibizan, with a beautiful palm-lined promenade and a fortified hilltop church overlooking the town and its picturesque surroundings. In more recent years, Santa Eulalia has become a hub of culture and cuisine, with some of the islands most highly rated restaurants gracing its streets. Alongside this, the year-round community in Santa Eulalia simply adds to its overall calmness and authenticity.

Cala Tarida is an idyllic holiday spot for those attracted to sunsets and the magnetic pull of Es Vedra Rock. With ridiculously perfect views, the most incredible sunsets and 5* VIP hospitality, the hotels along the west coast of Ibiza are perfect for couples, small groups and the select few looking for a more relaxed, and possibly more private VIP vacation. The stunning villas around Cala Tarida make the perfect base for larger groups of friends to come together, celebrate and enjoy all that Ibiza has to offer, without compromising on the level of VIP service that the island has to offer.

Cala Tarida is the perfect location for those looking for pristine white beaches, crystal clear waters and the finer things in life. In the surrounding areas, you’ll find the beaches of Cala Comte & Cala Bassa, along with VIP venues Cotton Beach Club and 7Pines Kempinski, all built to provide service of the highest quality to their visitors.
